It’s going to be a busy week in the studio. I have two events this week. The first is a solo show at the Chehalem Downtown Tasting Room in Newberg. If you’re in the Portland area, stop by for the opening reception. It’s on Friday, May 1st from 5pm-9pm. Snack on some complimentary appetizers and enjoy some Chehalem wines. If you can’t make if for the opening reception, the show will be up for the month of May.
On Saturday, May 2nd I will be at the Sherwood Saturday Market. It’s the first market of the season and there will be some great vendors selling plants, produce, art and other goodies. The market runs from 9am – 1pm. If you can’t make it on Saturday I will be at the market at least one Saturday a month. Just check the right column of my blog for my exhibition and show listings.
Disclaimer: Okay, so I know I featured a jewelry artist last week, but I was so excited when I found these necklaces I just had to post them today. I am so inspired by the Flickr group @neutral, simple, form, pale, beauty@ that I decided to create a mosaic with some of my favorite photos from the group. This is my first time using the mosaic maker on Big Huge Labs. It was so much fun to curate my own little mosaic that I may post my Flickr inspirations weekly. I just recently found Ruche while visiting the Paper n Stitch blog. Let me just say, I have really been missing out. Not only do they have beautiful, dreamy clothing they also carry some super cute shoes. I’ve always been a thrifty girl, but in this economy I’ve been extra frugal, and Ruche is easy on the pocketbook. At Ruche you can find a great pair of shoes for under $50.
